One of the main points in the transmission of spirits is the hand. The Bible says of the apostles in Acts 8:17, "Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost." In the occult., you place your hands on a Quija board as a medium. At a seance the sitters usually join hands to establish "contact".
