We have received many emails asking our opinion of Mel Gibson's The Passion.

It is a Roman Catholic inspired and motivated movie. It is based not just on the Gospels of the New Testament, but also on "The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to the Meditations of Anne Catherine Emmerich". Emmerich was a Catholic mystic nun that was possessed by unclean spirits. She experienced stigmata, visions, healings, levitation and claims to have visited purgatory. Mel Gibson has openly stated in interviews salvation is not in the Lord Jesus Christ but ONLY in the Catholic Church.
